Canon unveils EOS 500D / Rebel T1i DSLR

After much rumor and speculation, Canon has unveiled their new entry-level DSLR that effectively cuts into the market that their 50D is targeting. It has the same 15.1mp sensor as the 50D and the HD video recording of the 5D MKII, just 10fps slower at full 1080p resolution. From what I've read, I like it and at $799 for just the body, the price is a steal. While the 5D is still numero uno on my want list, the Rebel T1i will hold me over for quite some time.
